Parcel delivery: an update on ongoing disruptions linked to the Covid–19

During the first wave of Covid-19, Cubyn was one of the only logistics operators to maintain all of its operational activities on a daily basis.

We continued to adapt our organization to effectively protect all our teams and prepare for a possible second health crisis.

Despite government measures and the announcement of a new lockdown, our warehouse keeps on guaranteeing the same SLAs as usual.

In recent weeks, we have successfully implemented many new measures to provide you with the best possible support (opening of the warehouse 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday, new shifts during weekends, increased recruitment of operators, etc.). Meanwhile, we are closely monitoring the situation in our transportation network in order to continue to offer the best possible quality of service in this context of crisis.

Shipping networks status

Thanks to the combined use of several carriers for each delivery mode, we keep on covering areas inaccessible to some carriers during the crisis and succeed in maintaining business continuity. 

However, the backlog in the transportation networks related to large volumes could increase following the lockdown and have an impact on delivery times:

  • ✅ Cubyn Express FR: OK - Full service

  • ⚠️ Cubyn Relay FR & INT: 'non-essential shops' are currently closed in France - 80% of the network is now available (10,000+ Relay Points open)

    Conditions of delivery

  • ❌ Delivery time: No more guaranteed delivery time - No more refund for delays 

  • ✅ Delivery signed on Standard, Express and Relay: OK - Full service.Yet, some carriers are not able to get a usual signature but will provide an alternative solution (PIN code, picture of a signature on the package, picture of the delivery etc.)

  • ❌ AdValorem Warranty on Standard: No more warranty on Standard 

  • ✅ AdValorem Warranty on Express: OK - Full service

  • ✅ AdValorem Warranty on Relay: OK - Full service 

  • ✅ Returns: OK - Full Service
